Whitford v. Gill (2018)

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments for the case in October 2017 and a decision was handed down June 18, 2018, sending the case back to lower courts. The court ruled the plaintiffs had not demonstrated standing for the case in demonstration of harm.

Note: In summer 2016, the name of the case changed from Whitford v Nichol to Whitford v Gill to account for the change in leadership at the state elections authority.
